Scientific laws at odds with evolution

The following are scientific laws which are universally recognized as fact which evolution violates or cannot account for:

1. The first law of thermodynamics also called conservation of energy

This law states there is no new energy, only energy that has changed forms. For example,

wood has energy in it. In fact, the potential energy from one tree if completely unlocked

could light the U.S. for years. When wood is used in a fire, the energy is turned into light and

heat, and the wood is turned into coals and ash which still have uses. Evolution cannot

explain where energy came from.

2. The second law of thermodynamics also called entropy

This law states that things tend to wear out and break down. We see this in reality every

day. Evolution is the opposite of entropy. There are less species today than in the past, not

more, as evolution would indicate. That fits the Bible which explains the origin of entropy.

3. The law of biogenesis

This law says that life only comes from other life. Evolution says life came from non-living

Matter with no explanation how.

4. The laws of logic

There is no explanation for the laws of logic in evolution, especially for materialists. Logic

and laws in general are immaterial. Evolution says the universe is random and unguided.

Reality says there are laws and order. Evolution uses circular reasoning which defies the

laws of logic. For example, if you ask a geologist how he knows how old a rock layer is, he

will tell you the animals found in that layer were dated by the archeologist, so the rocks they

are in are the same age. If you ask the archeologist how he knows how old the fossils are,

he will say they are dated by the rock layers they are in. When you check on their various radiometric dating methods, you find another set of presumptions.

5. Laws of morality

Some evolutionists will admit the existence of laws of morality, but they have no explanation

of their origin or ultimate purpose. Some will attempt to use an argument of utilitarianism, but

this falls short in many ways, not the least of which is still failing to explain their origin. For

example, if the universe is random and unguided, and there is no accountability to a Creator

and Lord, then why is it wrong to murder? It is just men telling other men it is wrong, and

since according to evolution men are all just random chemical reactions with no soul or eternal destiny, then who are they to say so, and what difference would it make? Wouldn’t that just be part of their interpretation of survival of the fittest? How can there even be such a thing as truth in an evolutionary worldview? To some truth is relative, not absolute, which

basically means there is no such thing; or who is to say?

6. Laws of probability

There are mathematical laws of probability which tell us how likely something is to happen.

When the odds get too small, that is called a statistical improbability or essentially an

impossibility. The odds of evolution occurring are in the realm of the impossible.

a. the odds of just one protein forming by chance is 1 in 10 to the 450th power

b. the odds of the proteins in the DNA of the smallest self-replicating organism

coming together in the right place in the right way are 1 in 10 to the 167,626th

power

c. the odds of the enzymes in one organism evolving is 1 in 10 to the 40,000th

power

d. the odds of the jump from non-living to living are 1 in 10 to the 123,129,345th

power

7. Laws of information

Information comes from an intelligent source, must be encoded in a language by the source, and must be communicated properly in a way the receiver can understand and

use. DNA is a perfect example. It is the most complex, perfect, and capable information system known to man. No supercomputer can even come close to its ability and efficiency.

Evolution not only says information randomly came into being without an intelligent source. It goes even further to say that new information continued to do this millions of times each time DNA mutated into a more complex form. One hypothesis from evolutionists is that aliens brought it, despite no evidence of aliens even existing, let alone being able to bring

the exact genetic information needed at the exact right time and have the ability to somehow insert it in the exact right place the exact right way at the exact right time, and

then to do this millions of times all over the world for millions of years.

8. Laws of interdependence

The bodies of people and all creatures have complex interdependent systems which cannot

exist and operate without each other. There are also many interdependent systems in nature

such as bees and flowers. Evolution cannot explain how these systems came into being.

9. The law of cause and effect

Evolutionists can only explain the effect of creation. They do not identify the cause.

10. The laws of observational science

The scientific process involves the three steps of making observations, testing them, and

repeating the tests. The theory (actually hypothesis) of evolution cannot be submitted to this

process.

11. Laws of mutation

When DNA mutates, it always results in a loss of information rather than an increase require for evolution, and almost always results in sterility which precludes reproduction. It often also results in death. Cancer is a mutation.

12. Laws of natural selection

Natural selection and evolution are not the same or even related. They are actually

opposites. Mutations would by their nature not be the fittest. A mutated fish would not be the fittest in the water or on land and would thus be eliminated.

13. The law of kinds

Genesis 1 has the phrase “after his kind” ten times. This agrees with science. It shows us

things can only reproduce after their kind. Lions do not give birth to ostriches. Apple trees

do not grow bananas. There is variation within each kind, but there are limits. For example, there are many variations of dogs and cats, but dogs do not give birth to cats. This makes evolution impossible, even when adding the millions of years evolutionists made up to try to account for it.

14. Laws of sexual reproduction

How did creatures that reproduce sexually do so before sexual reproduction evolved?

15. Laws of immune systems

How did animals survive before immune systems? How did white blood cells evolve to know exactly which other cells to attack? Wouldn’t immune systems fight mutations at least

some of the time thus making evolution even more unlikely?

16. Laws of order

The whole creation displays an amazing order. How did this order come about? How did such order arise out of an explosion? Do explosions usually create order or disorder?

17. The law of acquired characteristics

Characteristics not programmed into DNA cannot be passed on. For example, if someone

exercises and builds muscle, their children are not automatically muscular as well.

It is noteworthy that none of these scientific laws contradict anything in the Bible. In fact, only the Bible provides an explanation for them. This substantiates the assertion that evolution is a belief and not science, the Bible is scientifically accurate, and that belief in the Bible is much more reasonable than belief in evolution.

A jealous God

We normally think of jealousy as a negative thing, and it can be. A synonym of jealousy is envy, which is forbidden in the ten commandments (Ex 20:17). It is the rottenness of the bones (Prov 14:30),

Evolution of the gaps

A popular argument against the existence of God used by atheistic, materialistic evolutionists is called “the God of the gaps”. This alleges that when Christians face a difficulty in science they just
